Vermont Ski Resorts list

SkiMaven's annual Vermont lift ticket discount post for

Bolton Valley, VermontEveryone wants to find a good deal once in a while and skiers and riders are no different. We've taken a look around the Web to locate some of the best lift ticket deals at Vermont ski resorts.

This list covers frequent skier cards, special discount skiing days, Vermont resident lift ticket deals, and similar. It does not cover season passes — so if you are going to ski for eight or more days at a single Vermont ski resort, also compare season pass pricing at that resort. If you are planning a ski vacation, be sure to review a ski area’s website for multi-day ticket rates (buying ahead online typically saves cash) and lift-and-lodging packages, as well.

Another tip: Keep on the lookout for online-only deals that pop up in the fall and during the ski season. They are publicized via a resort’s website and social media (Facebook and Twitter) and they typically require that you purchase your ticket online before hitting the mountain — sometimes well in advance.

Another tip: Ski midweek (non-holiday) because the lift ticket deals are much better and you’ll get more runs in without the crowds! Plan ahead and take some midweek vacation days. You won’t regret it.

Double check on the details before you drive to a ski resort! And don’t forget your ID if you want to cash in on a Vermont or New Hampshire resident ski discount.
